Mini Cash Days - 500-1000hp cars!
This video didn't fit under the video section since it's not related to a mkI or mkII; though it does have two mkIII's in it.
I attended the Ice Cream Cruise in Omaha about a month ago.
Here's a shot describing how many cars attended.

So, to the point... the night before the big meet 1320 Video hosted a Mini Cash Days Street Racing by invite only; the requirement was that you had to make 500+whp. (I wasn't able to take my car, but for that matter... I wouldn't have kept up with anyone there!)
Here's the video (you might up your quality under YouTube's settings to get the full effect):

It was a pretty awesome thing to be able to see in person.
Here's a shot of my car at the meet:

It was a great time. Met a lot of cool guys, saw some other mkIII's at the meet; saw one mkII... it was a huge POS, but at least there was one
.
I definitely going again next year, maybe I can send something out early enough to get others to attend. I was a bit lonely being pretty much the only mkII there.

Your car looks great in that picture. Is that original paint or did you paint it?
