What to do in VA Area Next 4 Months

I'm at Fort Eustis (Newport News), VA for the next four months. What is there to do around here? What are some places that I should visit? Any meets? I do plan on visiting New York, and maybe NC, NJ, and PA. I have a few friends out that way.

I have been lucky to meet some of the NW (Seattle) CS.com members. Now I'd like to meet some NE members.

Lynhaven mall is nice, stay away from portsmouth and norfolk, laser quest is pretty fantastic and the west coast doesnt have it. The norva is the place for good concerts.. The neptune festival is starting soon I think. Cops will not follow you after 100mph.... Eh I'll think of more later.

Thanks. 100mph, don't think my economy rental car can go that fast..... Heard Virginia Beach is cool. Maybe I'll check out Atlantic City also.

As far as I know, the Norfolk area Supra stuff of 2002-5 has fallen apart (OK, Mike Webber organized much of it). Used to be 10+ Supra guys around there. I can't remember the names (lots of Pinoy from the Toyota dealerships), but there is a father and son (Chesapeake?) with great MK II Supras that are still current on the forums.

    Junkyards, some great places

And some great junkyards just south of Richmond VA (Chester and Petersburg).

I agree, go to the Damon Meet in Englishtown PA (I'm the guy that took you to the Lacey WA meet @ Supraguy31).

Rich, I remember you. Thanks for picking me up that time. I would like to go to the PA meet but will have to see how my schedule is here. I will probably take a train up there then rent a car. But will have to see.

Would to see if there are any local meets around VA, nothing big, weekend get togethers?
