    100$ pace setter header on my car

    i hope your planning on running a intake or wrapping that intake with alot of heat shield wrapping cause its gonna melt

    ^ Agreed. I'm guessing the original heat shield plate thing won't fit right

    yea it wont fit right thanks for the suggestions though. i probably will put some wrap on the intake

    lol that was actually just the oil and grease from my hands and stuff

    is it supposed to sound like that at idle? sounds kinda gross, but does sound good reved up. good luck with the project.

    I've never had my intake melt (stock rubber and plastic) and my Pacesetter has always been open and no wrap on anything. I have thought about making a heat shield from some aluminum sheet and some pipe brackets for conduit, etc. from Home Depot.

    Chevy uses plastic intake manifolds, you aren't going to melt it, and wrapping it will make no benificial gains because the air is travelling too fast to be affected by the heat of the pipe

    Sounds great on a rev! I dont think your intake will be a problem..
    Daily 82 L-type used to be terracotta...

    New project Red 85 P-type.

    Part cars: Silver 82 L-type, Red 82 p-type.
