    Cruisin' The Coast 2012

It's that time of year again; the annual pilgrimage to the Mississippi Coast for Cruisin' the Coast starts this Saturday. The event is a week-long car show with 4-5,000 registered cars and typically another two thousand that just show up for final weekend on Oct 12 & 13. Makes for a fun time.

We will be representing the Supra community and probably all Japanese Imports again this year. To date, I have only seen four other Jap imports among all those cars but I really don’t care. We belong there just as much as the domestics.

Anyone in the area come on down and hang out. You will not be dissappointed.

Memories, a friend of mine spotted a Red cs P type EXACTLY like yours, spotted during Cruising the coast, on 10/13/2012 in a mall parking lot. I was there in my CS but I didnt spot you, I didnt go near the mall, I just cruised the strip....I am so bummed out, I am not sure if it was you or not. I got the picture on my phone the hood and hatch are up and there are awards hanging from the hood. I am so pissed I didnt see the car my self as now I am back home in Louisiana. The more I look at your car, I am positive its yours.

Cross, We just arrived back in NC after the all-day drive. Glad to be back but I wish I was still there, if you know what I mean. I was at the mall show on Saturday so I'm sure that it was me he saw, although I don't have any awards hanging from my hood as I didn't take those along. I did meet a guy from Pensacola on Friday with a 83 Terra Cotta. I told him about CS.com so hopefully he will join us here.
I hate that I missed you. We could have cruised together but traffic was insane this year. I've heard there were 6,000+ registered cars and I beleive it. Maybe next year as I will be back!

I am glad to know I found out who it was. :l I am not planning on being here in 6 months time. I am actualy moving further north ALOT further north to Michigan :'l so I wont be able to see that beautiful car of yours. I know there are more members up there but I am still bummed I was so close to your car and I didnt get to see it. I was actually broke down at cruising for four hours waiting for a fuel pump...

Hey Mark, I hate we missed seeing you this year at "Crusin the Coast". I had knee replacement 5 weeks ago and would not have been up to walking around. Did you bring home the best in show gold? There couldn't be a better representative for us down there.

^^ Sorry to hear about your knee surgery. I was wondering where you were.

All-in-all another great trip. No mechanical issues; no rain (3 yrs in a row); saw many family members; Bourbon St. AND a Saints game; and met many great Supra fans. Plus, and old mechanic immediately spotted why my AC has never worked (humbled once again) Life is good!

Unbelievably crowded THU-SAT, which means it continues to grow in popularity. Can't wait to go back. Hope to see you then.

The receiver / drier was reversed. I've spent so much time and money trying to get air; I was so excited he had to think I was little off my rocker. I can't wait to do the work and try it again. Here's hoping for cold air.
