What I've been doing...
Hehe, yeah. Dipped back into old Celicas lately, lol. Bought this one about 2 weeks ago for $400.00. Bought it not running. W50, 20R. Fuel pump was wrong, and I couldn't find the right one to put on it, so I converted it to a electric pump pushing 6psi.

After a simple rim swap and pressure washing

Started to swap my mkII seats into it, and the seat started to move then I turned the wrench. I thought "Wtf?" Yup.

So, I stripped the interior out, and the sound deadening out (Picture after doing so)
Here is what I found.

Today I fabricated patch panels. I have them tacked with weldable primer on them right now, Gonna bead around them all tomorrow. To fix the seat, I cut the brace out of my mkII parts car, bolted the seat in and the bracket to the seat, and welded the brace in.

Awesome work, how did you learn to weld? I have been interested in learning about bodywork, welds and complete fabrication of panels for older celicas and supras

Thanks guys! I finally got started on reinstalling the interior. Gonna reinstall what I have, but most like the rear seat side panels, etc I will have to source. Rear seat frames were literally rusted in half, so they're no good now. The material was ruined on them anyway. I also got the time to build a test pipe to put in place of the rusted out cat converter. Did it since we don't have emissions here anyway. It runs a fair bit better now too. Gonna weld a used dual tip muffler I have onto it too. The mkII seat here was just used to test fit, and so I can move it until I find a nicer set.
