Yeah, I wish the search was a little better too. You really gotta play around with search key terms etc.

There is a difference to being a noob in the forums beginning when the threads of interest were created, and being one now when the vast amount of networking and technology at your disposal was only a pipe dream 10 years ago.
I google searched "6M-GE", that is it, no other letters in the search bar. It came back with this. http://www.google.com/#hl=en&output=...w=1440&bih=733
The first sight on the list was the Wikipedia page about the M series engine that clearly states the history and information for the 6M
The second page is dedicated to the parts and process required to build your own hybrid 6M engine.
I love this forum and it has helped me out a lot, and I feel that I have helped others out a lot, but please people don't just use one forum for 5 min of searching. There are SO many more options out there, that is why all the noob questions are frustrating.Last edited by lacrssgus14; 10-07-2012 at 11:36 PM.

vBulletin search really sux. vBulletins are great for conversations, but are pretty terrible as a repository of knowledge. Even if you find the right thread it is often impossible to find the right post you want.

^^set your advanced search parameters to return posts instead of threads. Or use your browsers Find option on each page of the thread. I also often use google search constrained to site:www.celicasupra.com to get better results on some things. Sometimes it really is just a matter of knowing the correct terms to search for, though, so I don't mind pointing someone in the right direction once in a while. The thing is for me, it's actually quicker and better to search than to post a thread, wait for a response, and hope the response or two you happen to get is somebody who knows what they are talking about. Lot's of times the first answer is not the right one.
