    Power lock relay help

The power locks do not work on our Supra, and we are trying to resolve this issue. I've taken the entire door panel apart on both doors, and tested each power lock motor- both are functional, but I did notice a bit of corrosion on the power lock relay box. Popped it open and pulled the circuit board out, sure enough the thing is fried from water damage. Where can we get a new relay? None of the parts stores seem to carry it.

I did find this unit on eBay, not sure if it will work though. Does anybody know if they are the same?

It looks exactly the same, don't have a picture at the moment. I've asked the seller if he could supply a picture of the face of the box, try to match up the numbers.

Was wondering if anyone around here has used one before out of a MkIII...

The door lock control relay is next to where the brake pedal assy attaches to the firewall, the relay you are looking at is the controls for the door. If you are not worried about being able to unlock both doors from the drivres side and do not have an oem alarm, the relay in the door can be bypassed with a little wiring.

The car has an OEM alarm, would rather put everything back to original than bypass stuff. Pretty sure this box is the cause, lots of corossion... Also, the power windows both work without the box.

I'm relatively sure its isolated to the drivers side door. The window regulator is done for so it doesn't seal properly against the window seals. I've checked the passenger side and under the dash, nothing else is really coroded or showing signs of water damage.

Is there anyway to remove that relay and replace it with another that was found at the junk yard?

The box just plugs into the harness inside of the door, so it could absolutely be replaced with another unit.
