You will need the gear box, clutch and brake pedal (cause the manual brake pedal is smaller so it fits between the clutch and gas pedal), clutch slave and master cylinder + plumbing for it. And obviously a clutch and flywheel.
And I think you have to change the radiator to one from a manual car. Not sure about that, but I remember the automatic had some cooling lines that went to the front of the car that needs to be removed. I think they were attached to the radiator. Maybe someone can help with that info.
Everything bolts straight in, the only thing is you gotta fix up the wiring so the car will think its in neutral all the time so you can start the car. You should be able to find that info with a search.
I reckon you should do it yourself and save your money. It's an easy swap, you can do it in one day in your drive way with simple tools.

Those two transmissions you posted wont work. The shifter housings are wrong. You can swap them. But if you're asking whats needed and asking how much you should pay for labor, you should jsut get the correct gearbox out of a 82-85 Supra or Celica. But the Celica will need the bellhousing swapped.
Read this.

NewMK2,
There are lots of Supra owners in the Washington area, so there should be lots of help to be had... The auto radiator will still work with a manual tranny. You will just eliminate the trans cooler lines.
As for picking up a W58 box, you should be able to find one for much, much less, than $750!

stop double-posting the same threads in two different headings!! And use search. FAQ has all the info you need for this project. or rather all the info the average person would need. A moron or a caveman might still not get it. or a 16 year old boy who can't read

So I wanna know...
Are you selling this car, or keeping it?? You listed it for sale in the classified section on Oct 10, and then 2 days later, you're asking about how to to an auto-to-manual swap??Dave K.
