    Working on the new MA67

Hi all, Three weeks into this car and need to start my Thread before it gets too behind. Where to begin..... ah.... lets tear it apart. Well I needed to, the driver side top strut mount was broke and making banging sounds. I dont believe in tearing things apart and not sprucing them up a bit. first the teardown , lets see what we got.YUK!!!EWWWW!!Time for lots of sandblastingBack to the future! Pay no attention to the U-Haul blanket. Time to turn up the oven and do some powder coating. Red and Black are the colors of the dayMy 77 RA29 back there all quietly being jealous of the new girl. While waiting for things to dry....I think I'll do some interior stuff. First I ordered a NRG short adaptor and a Momo Mod 08 steering wheel (pics when they arrive). I'm going to put the original wheel away for a rainy day, keep it fresh. I then ordered a set of coverking spacer mesh seat covers in black. These are badly needed as I am always sporting dirty pants. Look for pics around the 24th. Stereo....ah yes stereo. first project was some Infinitis (little ones). some dynamat and some tightening of bolts. More to come on this one. And we cant forget the ol blue led trick. Ok gonna shut up for now, more pics when assembly starts tomorrow

Dont be dissin my automatic. The 77 has a 5-speed for going to play. Having an auto means the wife can enjoy it too. Shes had plenty of manuals but at 49, she don't wanna do that gear changin thingy. Speaking of that auto, I will be taking it for a full overhaul within the year I imagine. It snaps gears good when going fast but kinda mushy when slow. On the radio subject, I plan to leave the factory radio with eq in the dash hooked up to the original 3.5 speakers I replaced in the factory spots. Im going to mount them hidden underdash. They will be for listening to talk radio. For the jamming side of things, I'm going to put an audiocontrol 3.2 (preamp) in the glovebox, with signals run to a small 4ch amp under the passanger seat. I'm going to run a minijack to rca (put it in the armrest). I can use Iphone for music, Pandora, Internet radio.

well the front end is all back together.. Took it to the local Scott Clark Toyota this morning to have a 4 wheel alignment. It drives SOOOOOO good. I was alot of dang hours though. Every mechanic in the whole place came over to check out the ol girl. Some of them were younger than the car! LOL. They were like "WTF is it". My MOMO came in today, hub assembly due in tomorrow Some finished pics.

Nice work ,, keep it up .... A car to be proud of....
To me it is strange to see such a clean car underneath ,,, Overhere it will have been gone long time ago to rust ,,
Here the whole undercar (bottum ) has to be sprayed in grease/ oilstuff protection to avoid rust...
Got 2 supras my self now.... sold 3 other over the last 1½ year
