WTB MKII Manual Swap Parts And Harmonic Balancer
I'm doing a manual swap in my 86 Cressida; I need this stuff out of a MKII Supra, preferably an 85 I guess. Shipping to 02703. You can reply here or PM me. I'll keep an eye on this.
I need
Clutch pedal w/switch [and pigtail if possible]
Brake pedal
Clutch Master cyl
Clutch line complete from MC to Slave w/clips
Driveshaft
Flywheel w/bolts
Clutch w/bolts
Cover under shifter boot [unless you know it won't work on a Cressida]
Shifter boot
I also need a good harmonic balancer.93 Celica Alltrac Turbo

The MKII Brake Pedal, Leather Boot, and the Front half driveshaft will not work in a Cressida.
You need a MKIII Supra brake pedal, just have to cut and reweld the brake switch tab on the other side, you need a front half driveshaft from a non turbo 5 Speed MKIII Supra. And the leather boot, no idea on that one. I havent found or heard of one thats a direct drop in.
Ive 5 speed'd two X7s, worked on a 5 Speed X6 and was in the process of 5 Speeding my current Cressida. lol1984 Supra P-type: 5MGE/W58 Swap/4.10 LSD. Cressida BBK. Under the knife for the winter.

Mk2 supras don't have a switch on the clutch pedal for a starter interrupt, so you'll have to fab a bracket yourself.

They have the switch for the Cruise cancel, you can wire that as a starter interrupt between the terminals on the neutral safety switch. This can also have your cruise completely functional again in a swapped car. But I havent read the FAQ in awhile to verify if this is all you need.

Brilliant! I forgot about that, since the cruise stopped working in my 84 and I seldom used it before it broke anyway. That makes me wonder if that switch in a MK2 could be wired to a pair of relays, with one relay for cruise and the other for a starter interrupt. You could then wire up a switch in the starter relay wiring to bypass the relay and enable a remote start neutral safety switch to be wired in, to add a remote start system. It could even be done in a swapped Cressida, to truly have all the luxuries that the car is known for.
