check on Ebay, lots of sellers sell them. you can get 4x114.3 to 5x114.3

ive always wondered how safe they are though

I think they're pretty iffy, the holes overlap going from 4x to 5x pattern. Plus you loose the deep offset too. I think the safest thing to do if you were really desperate to get a different wheel selection would be to have a fab shop make the 5x pattern and have it welded on to the existing spindles. That's a whole different game though.

I was going to use these, but the selection of 4-lug wheels seems to grow daily. $163 + shipping to the US adds to the cost of those cheap 5-lug rims... But if I already had several sets of 5 lugs in the right offsets, would be a different story

Most people do it right by easily converting to starrion/conquest if you want 5 lug...

I was contemplating this idea and found this website, i wanted to convert to 5x120 and it's probably easiest and cheapest way:

You can put in the specs and it will give you a price automatically. I think they make them a 2 piece to avoid the 4 and 5 lugs overlap.

Advantage is that you can 1. choose the offset you want, 2. easily install, maybe a 5-10 minute job per wheel, 3. remove them whenever you like to go back to 4 lug

Check this video for an explanation of 2 piece adapters:

Before you consider a thick 4-piece adaptor, be sure to consider the offset that will be required and check if the wheels you want to use will even still work. For example, the thinnest adapter from the company above (1.9") would require around a +55 offset wheel to work with our cars. If your willing to run FWD offsets like this, then there is even less reason for you to convert to 5-lug.

The picture link I posted above requires you to change your studs to install, but the end result is very similar to using Starion parts, which I believe also changes the offsets slightly but not so much that you can't use RWD wheels.
