I wouldn't use it....I prefer Lexol, used by people with horse saddles.

Armor All actually dries stuff out over time, the opposite effect it is supposed to have.

I've soaked all the vehicles I've ever owned in armor all. Never so much as a tear, No cracks no nothing. So I disagree with all of you. over 15 years doing it...
So unless over time is like 30 years eric.!!
    I guess I'll see.
But In the southern states, Mabey Its true. But not where Im at.
I'm close to a lake, higher humidity, mabey that helps.

These claims of cracking could merely be lack of regular maintenance, as is almost all problems. You cannot use it three times a year and expect miracles. weekly at the minimum.
I suspect you with cracked dashes have left your car in the direct sunlight. For a long while.

Dont believe me? Look at my car's 27 year old dash for yourself. Thread was called "This is my ride" sorry not sure how to link it.

Armor all works great. Just have common sense about how you store and maintain your vehicle.

If you regularly use Armor All - yes it keeps stuff moist and very greasy. Stop using it, or worse yet, wash something with water to take the Armor All off and you will see what I am talking about. Vinyl and rubber care products have come a long ways since Armor All, and there are much better choices out there. I use F21 Super Protectant and am very pleased with the results considering it is not a professional-grade product. Yeah you can get into the Adam's line of car care stuff or buy from Griot's Garage if you want to get crazy, but if you're headed to Pep Boys I will stand by my choice.
