Sweet 1981 Celica Supra, that is the 5me motor right? Depend on the what you plan to do with the car. I have a 4me in mine right now and when it dies Im thinking of dropping a 350 in it, it will be a lot of work, but this is what I do for fun. The 7mge na or turbo'd would be a great fit in yours as I have been informed by other members that it will fit up with your current transmission, might have to do some rigging. to make it work. My brother bought one of those JDM imports with possibly 30-50k miles on it. My personal opinion is that these motors sit for some 15 years and they need the head gasket redone so make sure you pay the 100 extra bucks(some places offer it for this cheap) now so you don't have to spend more to get the head done later.
I don't know how far you live from utah but for 225 a local bone yard has a great 7mge na for sale, I know its good because it used to be mine before the car got killed by a STI

    What kind of track?

There are a number of upgrades possible - most involve swapping in a later M series engine. There is an upgrade thread that's stickied in the MkI section - definitely worth reading.
79 MkI, Black Metallic, owned since '82, in restoration - paint done! suspension done! 5ME motor going in soon
83 MkII, Terra Cotta, p-type, stock
    85 MkII, Super Silver, p-type, 1JZGTE, Turbo 350 Trans
    86 MkII, Black, hardtop, p-type, 6MGE, 5 Speed - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - (Chronic MGSS )
