She was painted over the summer love the color

June of 1985 is probably still an 85, but the only difference is the 3rd brake light on the 1986 model. What do you mean "air filter with built in fan"? If this is what I suspect, it will restrict airflow rather than help it. How about some pictures of that new paint job?

1982 Terra Cotta 'P' type - 1UZFTE slowly progressing (high comp/low boost corner carver)

You cant see the photos ? & yea the air filter has a fan inside of it so it can bring in more air lol i thought it would actually increase airflow since it drags in more air due to the fan

Haven't heard the stick joke? Hmmm. As for the fan, the car engine basically becomes a giant high-powered vacuum at the air cleaner under full throttle. So it's like putting a small electric fan at the end of the vacuum hose: rather than speed up, you'd hear the vacuum motor slow and strain because the vacuum is more powerful than the fan, therefore the fan becomes a restriction. At anything over half throttle it hurts your top-end power (unless it's a very expensive, very high speed fan that spins as fast and costs as much as a turbo).
Welcome to the forum: Day 1 and we've already increased your HP, lol.
And, no, still don't see the pics...
