    Key for 85 P-type

I'm trying to find a couple of the original key blanks either 90999‑00105 or 90999‑00095. I'd prefer the 105, since it has the plastic cover - but my son will be happy to have a key without electrical tape or plastic dip on it.

    How much shipped to 75002?

    Best regards,

    Steve

    AJ,

Are you saying the 90999-00105 and 90999-00095 will NOT fit an 85 Celica Supra?

If so, do you know what the correct part number is?

    Best regards,

    Steve

Negative both will work, the 00105 is alot narrower then the OEM 85 key...

The Ilco TR33 P is the closet to OEM. many lock smiths/key stores should carry this keyn or eBay or Amazon...

So far, all of the leads have turned up nothing but the same keys that won't fit into the ignition. Does anyone else have any new thoughts on how to get one of the original keys or an aftermarket key that I won't need to grind down the head to fit?

    Best regards,

    Steve Johnson

If you need to grind down the head to fit it into the ignition, then you have an 86 ignition switch (or car). Those key blanks are hard to find - - I couldn't find ANY locally. I need to special order a couple, as I only have the one key for the two-tone. If I lose or break that key, I'm screwed!

At least the black 86 had all of it's locks changed at one time, because it uses the larger 85 key.

Where can we special order these? I only have one 86' key also. But I thought we can just make a copy of it & sand it down. It worked for my last 86 back in 08.
