    Toyo Proxes 4!!!!

Well, got two new rear tires...Just the rears because the fronts are just fine... Funny how that is...

Anyway, got two Toyo Proxes 4's in a 255/40ZR17. All I can say is !@#$%!@@!@#!!!!! So THAT'S what traction is! Wet traction is UNBELIEVABLE!! The K104's I had were alright, but I could (and did!!) break traction a lot(Drifting is bad! Ok kids?). NOT SO NOW! But that's what I'd expect for a 200 dollar tire...

Those shoulder block sipes have these gill looking linings which help hold the tread block together...or so I'm told.

Great tire! I just ordered a set for my daily driver. Its probably the best high performance all season out there.

Yeah, before boost, I must finish the suspension and get a V1 THEN IF I still have the right to drive, I'll do it 8)

Yeah, I'll see about the "M+S" this winter....I'm impressed though!

I'm kind of thinking of giving a new tire a try sooner rather than later, maybe I will research these a bit. I drove through some storms the other day, and hydroplaned quite easily on brand new 225/50/16 kumho 712s. Maybe it was more of a camber problem (eibachs, plus a bunch of shit in the hatch) than anything else, though. Either way it's really kind of scary

I've heard bad things about the kuhmo's where wet traction is concerned. These proxes are bad ass in the wet. I've been launching really hard the last few rainy days and no traction loss. No puddles yet, but we'll see those soon enough...

i read the Sport Compact Car writeup on those proxes4 and they said they were an ass kickin all round tire.

definitely on my list of tires when i go for bigger wheels.

    - Ah VTEC. All the lag, none of the turbo. It's like waiting for bad sex
