What's next?
I have an 82 MK2 with a 5m engine. I've already added a MSD 6, Ravin muffler and a cone filter (RabidChimp). I'm please with everything I've seen so far, but I'm not quite sure what the next logical step is. I think replacing the rest of the intake with a tube like the one sold at Rabidchimp should be my next step, but I thought I'de ask the rest of you what you think.
BTW the cone filter with the Ravin muffler is definitly a unique sound and the power came up a good deal.82 Supra MKII 5M-GE, Ravin Muffler, MSD 6a, Blaster 2 coil, tach/fuel adaptor, Taylor wires, Open element filter (RabidChimp). Homemade Baffle replacement. Cracked head... 8-(

I would go with a header. If your intake pipe is cracking and falling apart I'd do the intake pipe.

Intake
I was thinking of doing the intake pipe, not so much because it is cracked, but rather to finish the air intake. Is there any merit to getting the throttle body that 62mm?

You'll get much more bang for the buck with the header. Intake if your lucky is 2-4 hp while the header will probably be in the 10+ range. To tell you the truth I can't even tell a difference with the factory piping in place. If you do a header make sure to wrap the pipe, since the header can put out more than enough heat to melt the stock stuff. This is also a good idea on the aluminum pipes as well. The Al pipe can get hot enough to burn your hand real good after a moderate drive (even on the factory manifold). Also if you just have muffler on the stock exhaust, you should consider going to larger piping before the header. Another thing you might consider having an '82 would be to upgrade to the later EFI setups. If you have u-pull-it yards near you this might be a fairly reasonable idea. This should be worth a few ponies as well. HTH

I would say go with the Headers + 2.5" pipping and 2.5" Cat

Re: Intake
The 62mm Rabid Chimp throttle body does make a big difference. I installed mine today, and at first I was skeptical...until I drove the car. I had driven the car earlier in the day before the install, and then right after I finished putting the new throttle body on.
