    Post Restoration/buildup section

Can this be made viewable to members only?

    Would this inconvenience anybody?

The reason is, I'm not trying to really advertise to the world, just the enthusiast community here.

    Any discussion about it?

Really trying hard not to be a dick, but it's 2016 - does anyone keep their builds secret anymore? To what end?

    That's a genuine question. I've never understood.

It's all fun and games in Mexico. Just trying to eat cake and downshift at the same time.

I'm not complaining about this site's open sections to all. That's the way it is here.

I just thought it could be discussed, my mistake.

My intent was not to make it so easy for folks around me to find out what I've been up to. I just don't want that attention right now, so I guess not sharing anywhere is best.

One of my favorite forums is NCRS. Costs me $35 a year but well worth it. There's sort of limited public browsing but also some restricted access. One thing I like is you have to use your real name. That really cuts down on the BS but also serves to connect people unlike here where we tend to remain anonymous. Main thing is just don't post a bunch of personal information that could lead to identity theft and protect your stuff by keeping it locked up. Unfortunately most mk2 owners are not wealthy people and would likely not participate if they had to pay a fee, but I do wish that I knew who most of you are. It'd be nice to be able to associate a cool build with a real person and not a vague username.

Agreeable. I wouldn't mind paying, but it's limited audience. Sharing with other MK2 owners is my main objective. Not too many places other than here. Or at least, that I know of.

Using real names and such, kinda like Facebook.

When either manifold, ECU, or turbo alone is valued more than the car itself, just makes me want to keep it in this community only, but it's no big deal.
