Working on the electrical. Nice when they are all new wires and a painless kit.

    ECU and relay mounting.

Wow. Actually have power to the car. Such a good feeling.

Let there be light! Did you remove all of the OE wiring in the cabin?

I bought an OE Electrical service manual and will be eliminating a bunch of wire near the driver kick panel.

Every. Wire. Gone. Painless 10 circuit kit, $400. Best purchase I have done yet. Clean and easy. So the plan is VIR in two 7 weeks. Getting a tune made on the 1st, hope to test the following week, gone for two, then VIR 12-hour. Planning on NCM, AMP, VIR in December, and maybe Sebring for the Celica (I need a name for the car...). Car will have a couple laps a think at VIR to shake it down and hash out issues for the rest of the year. Then I will remove things like the camber/caster plates. I'm getting excited, but anxious to see if it will actually all work together. A lot of unknowns were put into this car.... :/

Painless makes nice stuff. I've seen some of their products on the street rods around here, and it looks great.

Need to wire the Fan, Gauges, Diff pump sensor, and headlights, and wiring will be complete. super stoked about that. Then, taking it to a tuner on the 1st for final tune.

Starting it next weekend. I can't imagine it actually starting after 14 months. This took too long. But being pretty much the only two hands on the car, and rebuilding it within the rules as a race car, I can't wait.

Wiring complete. (well, until I remember to wire the door lights but that's easy). Everything works short of starting the engine. Need to clean the garage and start on the long list of randomness to make it drivable in the next two weeks.

I know the amount of time and effort it takes and you're doing it right.
