This is a tirerack closeout (woohoo!) and they're one of the best all-round performance tires out there (at any price). At $69 and $74 respectively, they're a retarded deal (half off). I nabbed a set of four 255/40's to fit all-round on my brown car. If I knew what wheels were going to end up on the cressida or my l-type, I would pick up some of the 245/45's as well...

George had them on his mk2 before anybody had come up with a camber mod kit, and I remember the cords showing on the inside of the rears pretty quickly.

looks like they were made in 2006, probably why they'd like to get rid of them.

NOT a good idea to buy these and keep them in your shed for another four years.

George drives like a girl though... If you see spirited driving, or use your head and have those rears "flipped" about half way through their life, you'll get a good solid 20k miles.

And so long as they're kept bagged, they should practically last forever. But yea, better to use sooner than later.

The only thing throwing me off this deal is the 245-45 r17 .... I would rather find another tire that would be 235-40 r17 or 245-40 r17. I'm seriously trying to avoid any rubbing issues.
The 255-40 r17 for the rear are sweet...they have me hesitating.
