I am selling my 1976 Toyota Celica RA29 (liftback). It has a 22R with a 290 cam and comes with 40DCOE Weber sidedrafts as well as a Cannon sidedraft manifold!!! Velocity stacks are included as well, and linkage (will need one fitting that you can buy online for cheap). I have not had the time to install the sidedrafts, but they will definitely open the motor up and make some great power. Currently it has a stock manifold and stock carb. It runs and drives pretty well, although it is still a project (it has a rough idle when its cold, but thatís also due to the cam). It makes really good power even with the restrictive stock carb. It has full headers that run clear down to the floor pans before connecting into the collector. It also has a HUGE front Addco swaybar with urethane bushings, as well as a rear (Celicaís did not come stock with rear swaybars) Addco swaybar! The car is also sitting on stiff springs front and back, not sure what brand they are, possibly Dobinson springs. Tires are almost brand new, and the wheels fit the car amazingly well. Now, the body is not perfect, so please keep this in mind that the car is over 30 years old! There are some imperfections and dings and the paint is not the best quality, but that is why I am not trying to sell it for 6 or 7 thousand dollars like other liftback Celicas. The interior is in very good shape. The seats are out of a Honda CRX SI, so they are super comfortable, and the door panels and back seat has been reupholstered. Also a new carpet in the car. I have also installed some early (1971-1972) cursive Celica emblems. The car only has surface rust in the places that some of the paint peeled off or flaked off. The car is driveable, but the front brakes seem to be a little sticky, and would need to be gone through prior to making a long trip. Also, there are a couple minor bugs that the car has (as expected with a 30+ year old car): the fuel gauge works, and then doesnt like to work, the turn signal relay seems to have burnt out recently, but thats a really easy fix. Please examine the pictures well; I will answer any questions that anyone has. Also, I forgot to mention that the car has tinted windows, but the door window regulators are both in need of rebuild. The windows go down, but they fall off the tracks. Any classic Toyota enthusiast knows that the window regulators are a common thing to wear out... and its a pretty easy fix just using parts from an autowrecking or parts car. Your gain is my loss, I have to let this one go, as I need to pay for University tuition, which as many people know, is by no means cheap!

I will consider trades for running or not AE86, S13, S14, classic Corolla, Datsun 510, Carina, or Corona... or even a good daily driver such as an Infinity or Lexus.

Also, due to the condition of it needing some brake work, just for your saftey, I am willing to tow it to your house for FREE!!!! FREE!!! UP TO 50 miles!!!

I'd take that in a split second if I had the room. Hopefully by the end of the summer I will!! But I bet it'd be gone by then. :(

Awesome car!

Grant
