I really considering getting this. I'm just worried it won't handle 700+HP, 700+TQ.

The size of the entire diff would be the limitation at that power level, depending on how much traction you have of course. There's only so much abuse a 7.5" R+P can take.

Please let us know how the TT911A565 application works out. I was checking prices from a online diff shop, the -565 was listed at $559 and the -342 was listed at $478.

Quite a bit more than last time I bought a trutrac! Is there really that much more benefit with the -565, I mean, for the $80 more?, performance or dependability?

I might consider upgrading my old trutrac, but would love some reviews of this latest model!

    Thanks!

    Don L.

btw, the handling of my trutrac really transformed my autox car. It lays two strips of tire rubber, powering out of turns. Just awesome... until the inside tire lifts. Then you might as well lean back and suck on your Starbucks, until the inside tire comes down, and away you go!

    New 565 diff...

Well, I can not comment as of yet. My diff is waiting on a different shim and then will get sealed up. As soon as I can get more information, I will.

    My current progress:

    Leon is working hard. Thanks!

Summit racing lists the 911A565 as a 8.4" diff.

Are we sure this is the right one?

I called the manufacturer and discussed the two different model numbers and which one I should use. Without a doubt, I was told that previously there was not a RWD version (-342 is front diff) and has to be rotated to work in a rear wheel application...and that the -565 is a true RWD application.

This does not mean that it is that much better...because others have had great success with the -342. I however am just being very thorough in my research. I am sure that either would be excellent!

There will be more information to come when I get my ride back.
