One more thing I forgot to mention. Buy wipers that are 1 inch shorter than normal. The adapters add an inch to the length of the arms.

I replaced the wipers on my wife's Prius a couple of months ago, and I said to myself:"I wish I could use this type of blade on the Supra!". I never new such adaptors even existed. Great write up for a practical solution.

I would only add that without having the adaptor in front of me, but only looking at your photos, it seems that perhaps if you used the middle and the other outside hole, the center of the blade would fall closer to the hinge point of the original blade, and perhaps the original length blade could be used. Also, and only for cosmetic reasons, I would probably cut off the portion of the adaptor that is not needed.
