HOW/WHAT else would you use to make one? Cardboard,Coroplast, carbon fiber, balsa wood,fiberglass,3 D print? NOE!
There must be a better material to build one with.
Lay it up in CF fabric, but I don't know how.
Put white carpet inside or white FLOKKING..Dual glove box lights would be cool. The dimensions are very weird, indeed. All of the HVAC ducting limits the space inside.

    WAIT!
Plexiglas? Light it from the out side and the entire thing would glow.Damn,I want one, now.

There is always a better way. Outside of the BOX is always a good thing.

Excellent, thanks, all - looking to buy one in the best condition possible, soon - yeah, rotator-cuff procedure, probably within a couple of weeks, luckily, I should have some reasonable use of the shoulder by the time of the Vegas meet....let me know what you have available, and then, let's make a deal! Thanks for the post-op advice!

I definitely have a good one... but go with 4SFD .... as I don't have the time to spend hunting for 1 minor item... PLUS shipping will b a lot cheaper from Wisconsin than Canada...

Good deal,Dave! I'd be all over that one for $50!
    It is REALLY good.
Malibyte, will you modify it b-4 you install? I'm just curious.
The one in my '84 is not that nice. I've had it out 6 times.
    It's a complex shape,to say the least.
    It is formed paste board/paper.

If there was a higher demand for replacement glove box liners, I would definitely create a mold from mine and make a few in whatever color options people wanted using fiber glass. I'm in the process of converting my black interior to a tan and very dark green interior. I have to finish the garage remodel so I can finally get air conditioning out there. Missouri summers are very hot. I have very few extra parts but I was able to find a shift bezel in decent-but-not-perfect condition at yotayard. The color was not an issue for me since I'm going dark green on mine anyway.

No modifications, other than a light coat of flat-black paint to rejuvenate it. Also will put a couple of Velcro patches on the lower portion to hold my turbo timer/boost controller and satellite radio receivers in place.
