I have the whole sunroof assembly still to come out of the car. The panel is rust free but I want to make a mold of it before I sell it so I can lay up a fiber glass panel for me. Even thinking about doing the whole roof.

I want the glass one. I'd like to sell the whole sunroof as an assembly but I will part it out.

I know one thing I wouldn't call it rust free until you get it out of the car and remove the seal. They rust from the inside out and where the screws tap thru the panel in back.

I'll withhold it as a statement of fact and give my opinion then until I do get it out and say that it appears rust free. Head liner is out and all around the frame looks good and it looks good from above. I have not been able to get it to open so the cables or what ever drives it may need some attention, but the inside of the car and head liner have no water damage. next week or 2 will tell the tale. At this point it looks like the small headliner panel attached to the sliding panel is going to be sacrificed though.
