Japanese cars and the supra in particular are beginning to get some recognition as classic cars and collectors items. First with the articles in the british rag "Practical Classics" and now Hemmings. I was just about floored to see the feature car on the front page of "Auto Restorer" magazine this month - a 1975 Honda Civic CVCC. Article went on to describe how important that car was to the automotive industry, what a revolutionary technology, and how it was particularly the car that gave the japanese a foothold in the US market. Apparently rust claimed the bulk of them and now collectible today. The editor of "Auto Restorer" has written in editorials about the emerging trend - the muscle cars of the 60s are just about all restored and collecting dust in someones collection. Its now MY generation's turn to scarf up the surviving cars of OUR youth. Of course the Supra is the top end of the Japanese models so it goes to figure it would be collectible. Will be good to see a top publication recognize it. Good work Greg.

    Hemmings

Way to go Greg, beautiful supra and the perfect car to represent our passion!

I've always thought that a perfectly restored STOCK supra was the way to go for future value of these cars. Maybe if I hang on to my stocker then some day its value will approuch the time and bucks I've invested. Well I can dream anyway...

Congrats Greg. Really happy your car is getting the attention it deserves. Your hard work has paid off. I can't wait to see your car at the meet so I can then take a pic with me next to it >_>;; *bows*

I'd consider it a personal favor if you did not show up at the meet. you can just disappear.

I beleive that their goal (an original MK2) was fully furfilled.
Gregg's 84 is among the best example of it.

(see what is happening when you hang out with Enzos, Lambos....! )

Congratulation Greg that is one hell of an honor to get into Hemmings. All these million dollar cars and you are in front of them. Thats how awesome your car is and how great the MKII's are. Cant wait to see it close up. I'll try not to droll or steal it
