forgive me I'm in the process of re-reading the whole 50+pages of this thread
and from WikipediaThe M30's production run lasted for only 3 years, ending in 1992. It is not known exactly how many models were produced, but it has been said that just over 12,000 were made, half coupes, half convertibles, making the M30 the rarest Infiniti ever put into production. Previously rumored by M30 enthusiasts was that only 5,000 were made in total, half being coupes and half convertibles. Speculation regarding the exact production numbers for the M30 are, however, still uncertain
I guess since I cant see a picture of the M30 (post 174 page 18? pic missing)hub its hard for me to visualize what the differences are and how it makes the M30 hub ideal. Is it just where the machining needs to be done? I know that the supra hub was made to have the rotor bolted to the back of the hub and, if I've read correctly, the M30 has it's rotor mounted over the face of the hub. Is this correct? Is it that the outside of the hub face (where the lug studs go through) on the supras hub needs to be machined down where as the M30 is the "snout" that sticks out from the face of the hub in the M30 that needs to be machined instead?
I know in both cases the lug studs will need to be replaced, if using the supra hub, longer wheel lug studs need to be used (how much longer? I know there was a doorman part number somewhere in this thread or was it a application maybe a landcruzer or landrover or something like that?) and if using the M30 different thread pitch (I assume the same wheel lug stud from above will work?)
anyone have a picture of the M30 hub?

Gonna revive some people from the dead on this one hopefully because im running into a few issues and have yet to figure out what im doing wrong Ill for sure post pictures this weekend...
The problem im running into is:
q45 calipers mpv 4x4 rotors mk2 hubs
once I drilled out the rotors and machined down the mk2 outside of the hubs and put in new studs once I reinstall the combination the caliper ends up with about a 1 inch gap between the mounting holes once I line everything up id like to see some detailed photos but my post count is apparently limiting me from doing so?
my original user name was 85mk2supi or something like that I cant seem to log into that account anymore either.lol -

...the Q45/MPV setup has been shown to work on plenty of MK2 hubs - simply need to grind down the OD of the hub to fit inside the rotor hat and redrill the rotor to 4x114.3

Hey guys. I'm going to junkyard today cause they have a 350z vert there. So it's true the calipers will bolt right up? $18 ea for them.
Thanks

Anyone know where I can get rear e-brake shoes with thicker brake material. I need about an extra 1/8" of thickness.

I think that was discussed on this board at some point, might be able to find it in a search.
Just finding any ebrake shoes these days is tough. I found some on ebay and ordered a bunch recently. Rock Auto etc doesn't have any more.Black 86 mk2 Project Car
