Nice job - it looks like it belongs. BTW I was a cassette guy too, and converted everything to MP3s.

I own a couple.....I have to dig out my indash 8 track player, pulled it out of my old 85 pickup. Of course, I could just play them on my portable one...lol

Sorry for the thread jack, but that install is sweet. They only thing I dont like about the palyer is the roundness of the buttons. But it would be a good alternative.
I'd consider it a personal favor if you did not show up at the meet. you can just disappear.

I like everything about this install. Simple functionality. Why did that ever have to change? I bought the cheapest Sony deck they had and it has more shit on it than I care to ever learn about. And whatever happened to equalizers? I might have to change my system now.

Nice. I was wondering about this myself. Looks great, like it was meant to be there too. But for now I am staying stock.

Not the best pic but another example of what you can find used on eBay...simple install and option of 2 CDs at a time...

I knew there was someone else out there!

As far as 'equalizers' goes, they do kinda look cool depending on your tastes(especially when every slider has an LED in it). Being a musician, I've always had them in my face. You may be glad to know that this unit I installed, and many others of it's kind, also came with a 'MID' control along with the normal 'BASS' and 'TRE'. A nice little bonus for a little more control of the sound. Best us EQ guys can ask for without actually having one, I think.

Thanks to all for the positive thoughts.
    Brad

I say this post deserves a STICKY !! How do I request such to a moderator?

Well done! I'm tempted to trade you my almost mint radio cassette amp for your setup.
