Have you done the foglight mod yet?

  4. #13
You can still decide what gear it's in. either run it up to 40-45 quickly, making the tranny keep a lower gear, or get there slowly, and it might go one higher. Just play around with the throttle, or maybe downshift to a lower gear on the selector. I'm not hip to the auto transmissions on these, so I can't say exactly what to do, but experiment.

Gage, I have the same problem with mine. It makes a whistling noise at 50 MPH at 1,500 - 2,000 rpm

Here's how I found the answer to your question:

    1) clicked on CS.com link in menu at top of forum

    2) clicked on the "FAQ" button on main site menu

    3) clicked on the "lighting" button

    4) clicked on the link for "fog light rewire"

There's a LOT more to this website than just the forum. Go take a look around at www.celicasupra.com once in a while. You might be surprised what you find there.

So if you disable it you only get 100 extra hp?
If you completely remove the whole system it adds about 160hp, it must be the weight of the EGR system holding the car down too much.

One of the main things that will make you car faster is lightening it. Just remove the engine and tranny from the car, put the assembly on the ground, sit on the tranny and make noises, it goes so fast then, that it feels like you are not moving at all.

In all seriousness, all the information is on here. There are really no "first day mods", what you should do is spend about 1-2 months reading on here and learning about the car as much as you can. Then, when you understand the car and mods that can be done to it, you can decide which ones to do.
