Just wondering if other years Mk2 (82-86) will work or are year/model specific?

What are the differences? Specs anyone? (ie. I have an extra 22250-43150-197100-3060)

Will that fit an '82 5mge?

The toyodiy site has two different part numbers from 82 to 83-85. I also have one (off a vac. advanced). Let us Know.

Yes, welcome Bensbench, hope you find what you're after.

And since this is still on thread topic, the numbers from ToyoDIY only refer to the first two sets of part numbers and they appear to match,

but Wikipedia notes differences between years on US model of the Celica Supra:

1982 Supra 5M-GE had vacuum-advance distributors and 9-to-0 volt output AFMs.

1983-1985.5 Supra 5M-GE had 0-to-5 volt output AFM's.

I'm still wondering...will a different year AFM/MAF (Mass Air Flow Sensor) affect the '82 ECU if plugged in to test?

The Holy Grail of AFMs.

'82 only as far as I know.
But these are the only AFMs tha are used on the Toyota upgrades.
I've sold a few to be used on 4 cyl. trucks and on others toys.

Well if you decide to sell it I'm interested. '82 is the only year that's plug and play though. The rest you have to modify the board and a whole bunch of crap I don't know how to do.

Yup, 82 Supra AFMs can be sold all day long anywhere guys. I get 22re guys asking me for them all the time, sold many of them over the years. They are getting rarer, and the demand isn't dying ;)
