SOLD!!!

Copied and Pasted from the local area forum.

* Name: Pierce Ford
* Location: Chesterfield/Richmond/Charlottesville Virginia.
* Means of Contact: PM me here, or call me 804 two one eight 5117. I don't answer numbers I don't know so leave me a message.

* Description: Selling my latest project car. It's a 1983 Celica Supra P-type, which means it comes stock with 14x7 wheels, 4.10 LSD, fender flares, and lots of fancy shit inside. Automatic climate control (Currently, the fan works but the heat doesn't, so it just blows ambient air), Cruise control (Which I just realized I've never actually used, so I don't know that it works), fancy retractable map lights, neat-o era specific stereo with equalizer (Pre-Previous owner jacked it up so it only plays what's plugged into the AUX cable though), a bajillion way adjustable seats, (Three level lumbar, bolster, knee, recline, and headrest- up/down and back/forward), LEATHER which wasn't even an option in the P-types until 84, so either this is a later year model or someone swapped it in.

It has the 2.8 liter 5M-GE DOHC 12 valve engine, with the W58 five speed manual transmission. Has something like 210k miles. As already stated, it has a limited slip differential from the factory. I just replaced the headgasket like... 3 or 4 months ago, maybe like 50 miles on it since? Used ARP studs. I haven't been driving it cause it has no heat, but what times I HAVE driven it, I've ragged the shit out of it, and it responded VERY well. Has a bit of restriction on the low end power cause the catalytic converter is clogged up (you can smell it when it gets hot). Obviously, it HAS been in a front end collision, so It'll need those parts. The radiator support was pushed back just a hair, but it was enough that the fan liked to get caught in the shroud. I cut one of the fins on the fan, cause I thought just that one was bent, but ended up being that I had to cut the whole shroud. Hasn't caused any overheating issues at all, but I'd replace the fan clutch pretty soon. The radiator isn't leaking or anything, so it would probably just need everything pulled back out. Hood doesn't latch, so it gets tied down with some speaker wire, but hood pins are like, what, 10$ at Autozone? Has two BRAND NEW Bridgestone Radial TA's on the back wheels cause some bitch slashed two of the Yokahoma's. 225/60R14's and they have less than 10 miles on them. Front's have a good bit of life left. Suspension is all stock, and very tight. It's a luxury GT car, so it's not that firm, feels like a Lexus, but it feels secure and handles very well, it's been down Old Gun a couple times. It is pretty dirty, I've never washed it.

I'm sure there's other crap that I'm forgetting, there always is, but feel free to ask ANY questions about it.

The only reason I'm selling it, is because I've slowly been realizing that this is not the Supra that I fell in love with. I miss my third gen, and this car just can't replace it, but it will make a GREAT car for someone else.

* Price: Gonna ask $1000 OBO. I'm open to trades, ESPECIALLY for an MA70 Supra, or anything interesting really. NO HONDA'S! NO FWD! Plznthnx.

* Pictures: Pictures are Pre-headgasket change (not that that shows anyways...), and Pre-new tires.

Shroud has not yet been cut, and the clutch fluid reservoir has a cap now.

Just realized I have no interior pics except this one and NO she does not come with the car, we aren't even together anymore.

I'm quite sure this will be updated soon...

LOL!!! She's not even a natural red-head but she was MOST DEFINITELY insane.

I'm 100% sure it was HER BOYFRIEND who slashed the tires. Yeah, you read that right.

Bump I guess? =P

I don't have the ability to part it out. And frankly couldn't care to do it. It runs and drives, why would it need to be parted out?

Well the parts aren't for sale unless you buy the car first. So quit asking for parts please.

Thank you very much.

I have, but I've had two other offers for more, so I'm not soon to accept it.
