At some point in the future, I'm planning on doing an engien swap im my supra. I was thinkin the 7m for a while, but now my freind has gotten me hooked on the idea of a 1jz-gte. Because I live in BC, I will have to pass aircare, and I can't seem to find much information in english on the 1jz. I know its a twin turbo, 2.5 liter DOHC inline 6, with ~280 hp. And thats about all I know about it.
Any suggestions, sites, facts?

looks like you and me is in the same boat i was thinking doing the 7M but desided for more power 1jz or the 2jz is the best any way i was looking around and couldnt find any info about the 1jz or the after market parts for that matter and some parts are so expencive to bring it to north ammerica specialy theres not much guys doing any swaps in calgary. any way i got some info from justin one of the members in the Forum HOPE HE WANT MIND SHARING THESE sits with you.

if you guys need 1jz-gte engine mounts, they can be sourced in aust. for $250, and the freight cost to canada is around $50 (I sent a pair to a guy there who did the conversion)
Apparently this is the cheapest way to get the mounts, unless you're making them yourself (or have a mate who can do it)
