My starter died, so I push started it was stuck idling at 2,000 rpms. Anyone know what could be causing this? I did install a new air filter but I don't see how that could do anything...

reset the computer, there is a fuse you can take out for like alittle while but I dont remember which one it is, its in the black fuse box next to the battery  Im sure someone will chime in and say which one it is
I remember someone mentioning a yellow cord to disconnect that would reset the ECU. Can anyone confirm that? I think they said it was in the backseat armrest or something, I'm using the search now but I can't find it.

UPDATE: I just wanted to let everyone know, my car is working like new again. I replaced the started and it starts up instantly now. The 2,000 RPM idle seems to be a result of push starting it. It's running great now, idles normal and is stronger than ever, specifically when cold. Thanks for the help guys.
