A friend mine has a 2001 Accord 4cyl. Auto. with AEM intake, other than that its completely stock. He was always talkin shit about my car (84 P-Type) like his was faster. So tonite i finnaly raced him. I pulled on him in first and didnt look back. Hes not talkin shit anymore!

Beat down Again

My friend Claimed that he could still beat me so we went to it again. We raced four times and i WON all 4 times. It was nice. Then i followed him to his friends house and he got in his friends BMW 530. I didnt do so good against the 225 horsepower Beamer. It was all in fun though but i dont feel very bad losin to the BMW. I beat the Ricer and thats whats important!!

don't go autocrossing then, you wouldn't like what you'd see. I've never been a fan of econoboxes moded to handle and go. No matter how fast and effective they are they're still not sports cars in my mind, but some more purpose built fwd sports cars are a different thing. Like the new Celica GTS, that it is one fast car on an autox course. Hell even the GT will kick some serious ass. Then theres CRXs, that fwd Lotus convertable, the new mini cooper etc. All very fast cars, and fwd.

well yes teh new mazdaspeed protagay aparntly is the best hadeling front loader on the makret right now it does a 70 sothing mph slom in some magzine i was readin not saying a fwd car cant be fast ive seen neaon kick ass on teh autoX but in my eye there just not a sports car



cuz a sports car is supposed to be front engine rear wheel drive or mid rear or rear rea just a frekin rwd car basicly lol

ive found the GT celicas are faster than the GTS in real world conditions, i guess theyre way more torquey and not such a peaky lil bitch.

im inclined to agree tho, that a sports car "Should" be RWD, but there are some FWDs that ill call sports cars
eg: integra type R (hate them, but you cant argue with performance)

technically, ive always thought of sports cars as RWD, two seaters, with a peppy engine, manual tranny and not much else.
the early miatas come to mind as recent examples.
