Hey Everyone,

I want to thank all the guys that showed up for the meet this year.

We had 1 MKI, 6 MKII, 2 MKIII, 2 MKIV, 1 Toy pickup and 1 Prowler come this year from as far away as North Carolina and New Jersey.

Awards were given out this year for Show and Shine and drag racing.

In the Supercharger Showdown hosted by MIR (Supra class) congrats to Damon Saul for his 1st place win and Trophy.

M-A Awards were awarded for:

Drag racing:
1st Place Fastest over-all Damon Saul (MKI 7M Turbo, low 13s and hitting fuel cut)
2nd Place Fastest over-all Ryan Hewett (MKII 5M, low 15s)

1st Place 7M class Damon Saul
1st Place 5M class Ryan Hewett
No 2JZs raced this year

Show and Shine:

1st MA61 Charles Hughes (beautiful two tone grey on silver)
1st MA70 Russell Green (white)

I'll be posting pics on the website once the ones I took are developed, and as soon as the other are emailed to me.

Thanks again guys!

I wanted to thank Mike for putting this together. It's not easy asking people to come together from all over and knowing exactly how many of them are going to show. Thanks to Jay for meeting me outside of Richmond and caravaning the rest of the way and to all the other people that I met who share a love for a car that we have in common. BTW Mike, it's "Hughes" (I just love giving you a hard time) Oh, and Mike is too shy to tell you on his last run he got into the 16's!!

No problem Charles....

BTW... as for the Supra Meet....... dang it is the first Supra meet I was and I had a lot of fun.... learned a few more stuffs about our cars and shared a few stuffs to other people.... It was a good turn around since last year... as per Mike is telling us.... but now I am totally hooked up to this and it is nice to see another Supra enthusiast in VA, MD, PA....

and also Damon Saul Rock the Meet.... with his 7MGTE powered MKI....

Thank you to Mike for organizing this meet!!!

 ok, I fixed it CJ

Last year I couldn't get out of the 18's, after tweeking for a year I was running 17.1s, I was determined to break 16 this year so I tweeked a bit more and finally got a 16.82, too bad I dialed in a 16.85

Here is a few pics that Richard G sent from his digital camera.

I'll have them more organized this weekend I hope.

I did? hmmm.... brain isn't working right....
guess I'll have to go look at the timeslip now...

well, I looked and can't find the slips.... I was running low 17s this year and was determined to get into the 16s.

no matter though, the next time that engine so much as hickups, I'm pulling it off the road and buying a $200 beater while I install something with a bit more butt to it. Then it'll be time to chase down Damon in that beast he's got.
