Well, I'm looking at getting around to doing something about the cheap-a$$ paint job the last owner put on, and need some input. The current paintscheme is black, but the car was originally a Dark Blue/Super Silver 2-tone (code 2u4). Does anybody of have pics of this scheme? The October car for the 2003 MKII Calendar is supposed to be one (Dan Mac's 85). Could somebody scan this for me?

Thanks

Hehe... Seriously everyone....

Can SOMEBODY scan in this months pic of DanMac's 85 from the 2003 Calendar!!!!! This is a much clearer & more detailed picture than the pic that is in the 85 brochure.

I have the calendar (am looking at it now), but I don't have access to a scanner. Can anyone help here??

Well....

For the time being, this will have to do.

http://ma70.com/danmac/

Click on the 85 Supra link on the left, then also click on the "construction" page.

Trust me tho.... The calendar picture is MUCH NICER & CLEARER then the pics on his website.

Definately better then ricer yellow. Thanks for the link, Chris.

...and Sam... Honduh blue?! Isn't that just a rip-off of RSP? How about a truely great color for a Mk II, like sublime green, or maybe hugger orange?  lol... going to have to have a little talk about taste when I finally get around to driving that extra 20 miles.

Dunno what he has.... His website does not mention the wheel brand name. Other than they are 17's. Closeup pic of the wheel is still too far away to read the center hub.

And remember, he's had these wheels since at least around 98...

FYI..... He does have a email addy...... (hint, hint....).

Now WHERE is Sparky???????????????????????? Since he was the one who was asking me about the 2U4 Paint Code paint scheme.... :p

And remember folks... This is a repaint!!!! Still the original paint scheme to match the paint code on the dataplate.

I'm here... and that does look gorgous; I also know there is no way my car would ever look that good (at least without a lot of work). Thanks for digging up the pics Chris.
