233whp is actually good on a dyno jet dynamometer for a stock 3uz, I believe your referring to crank horsepower, the factory claims around 300 CRANK horsepower, I have 4 unlocked ecu's, 2 stock and 2 remapped, the remapped ecu's have improved throttle response and a gain in torque and the stock ecu's are noticeably slower than the remapped ecu's, I've actually raced a lexus sc430 and beat it by a car throughout 3 runs on acceleration and 40 and 60 rolls, and yes I'm using drive by wire throttle, I'm using quantum for the remaps, I have a obd2 port for the code reader and there are no codes, check out my YouTube to see it in action and see for yourself- type in " 3UZ induction noises".Thanks for the description and pictures. Where did you get the unlocked ECU? Are there any error codes being reported by the ECU?
233whp seems a bit low considering the stock 3UZ engine power rating is 290~300 hp. I'm just wondering if the ECU is limiting power by preventing 100% throttle (the 3UZ has throttle-by-wire).
