Whats up guys

For the past year I've been leisurely restoring my ROACHED 85 Supra, and now I've decided its time to rebuild the engine.
No major issues, it burns oil so I'm replacing the piston rings. My grandfather suggested that while the engine is out, I have a machine shop go over the head/make sure the valves are seating correctly.
What else should I do before I put it back in?

Also what do you think of my custom carpet job

ARP studs for the head are top of the list and for a little more insurance piston connecting rod bolts too. It is good to have the rods re-sized which restores the round shape and keeps the oil flowing where it should. Check the weight of each piston and rod assembly and balance if you feel it necessary. Use FIPG (form in place gasket) sealant on the oil pan and front timing cover.

Take your time and double check everything. Be methodical and number parts such as pistons and rods when removing. The process is fun and quite rewarding when done with care.
