I think that question is relative...to the amount of boost you plan on pushing. It's not a simple yes or no answer. A lot of guys have built their 5/6m with ct26 pushing stock boost and are running fine. Any higher and IMHO you're just asking for a piston to come flying out the hood one day.

I do believe that there was an atticle in a magazine in 1986 that actually had a HKS twinturbo setup.

If you look in the media section of celicasupra.com You can find the article

The 0-60 times wrer not as impressive as I thought however.

now if i had that on my car...damn that be fun
wut amount of boost is recomened for a TT set up?
Eleventy-billion psi, on twin t88's. Should reach full boost by 1,200rpm.

The question is too vague...what is the setup:

What turbo's are being used: Are you running a couple ct12b's, t3/t4 hybrids, t04e's???
What has been done internally: mhg, forged pistons, arps??
What sort of electronic fuel management is being run??
What has been done to the rest of the fuel system??

Without specifics it's hard to answer...it's not like we can come out and say a figure like 10psi...cause we'd be lying...that's why we got this answer:

Eleventy-billion psi, on twin t88's. Should reach full boost by 1,200rpm.
There is no answer...except to keep in mind that a stock 5m with a bolt on turbo should not be run over stock ct26 boost levels: ~7psi. So i guess in theory we can use similar logic for the tt setup.
