All 6M manifolds are "D" port runners, which were a big part of the 15 HP upgrade on the 5M from '84 to 85. The lack of EGR won't affect the ECU, but since there will be more O2 in the exhaust it may richen the mix a little and should pick up a little power across the RPM range.
Get a full manifold gasket set and be prepared to move your throttle body over, plug the 6M's IAC solenoid hole, and use gasket sealer sparingly.
