For those of you running the 7M-GE, did you go with the 7M-GE electronics too, or did you stick with the 5M electronics, or maybe some other route?

It could be run with the 5M ECU. However, quite a few modification needed to be done. It would be the best if you could run it with the 7M ECU or an aftermarket one. Good luck!

7MGE with 5MGE Electronics

Hi, Bob,

Mine's running with the stock 182 injectors and the 5M electronics. It's also using the 5M sensors on the engine with the stock 5M harness. It ran well enough to win the NA MkII at Vegas last year.

That's why I sent the money in for the Split Second MAF upgrade. I want to go to the 295 injectors when I install the header later this year.

Hey Jeff, What 1/4 mile times were you running at Vegas?

Did you use the 5M intake or the 7M intake? How is this any different than running a 6M?

Jeff's car was the storage locker durning the drags.....ask Chris Eng about this one.. :lol: ( mine was the dog pen)

Jeff won the NA MKII Dyno for highest HP and this was with all 5m electronics. Just wait till He gets the header, 7mge harness, ECU, AFM and injectors installed this summer.... Maybe then we'll get him on the strip to see what the beast will do.
