i find a crashed ma-71.i did start it.it has 239000km, the guy wants 1300$ for everything to make the car work in my 84 supra. IS THIS A FAIR PRICE???????

what year? How badly crashed? was that price for the whole car or just the componets you needed? was the turbo rebuilt recently?

an 88. 1300$ is for all the components i need to make the transplant work.i don`t know about the turbo rebuild.it`s a car that comes from ontario,the scrapyard bought it from an auction.

I'd take it since how often can you find a complete 7mgte car for less than $1300. As far as mileage, I'd rebuild the engine anyway. I paid $2500 for a rear ended mk3T and rebuilt its engine which I used for my mk2. So you're $1200 less than what I paid! Expect to have the turbo rebuild, too.

Offer him $1000 or walk away from it. Just for starters it's probably going to need new rings, cylinder hone, bearings, valve job, cams, oil pump, seals - your basic rebuild.

Try to get some compression #s from him before you offer anything.

Everything?? His definition of everything may not be the same as mine. If you were getting the whole car so you can get little things even like the mk3 tach and the wiring from under the dash etc to do the job right, then offer him $1000.
