will it work? i hear there is only a lil extra bolt peice to cut off to clear the p/s pump but that's it...search didn't have any results about this.

it will work. you dont cut anything. just grind a little bit. one thing though, it will hang lower so you may want to get a muffler shop to modify the collector so it doesnt scrape on speed bumps. btdt.

thanx. do the headers really make a whole lotta difference in sound? i'm gonna add an exhaust cutout to switch between super quiet exhaust and free flowing exhaust...maybe if i revv it fre flowing i can get a few races lol!

Oh it's gonna be loud alright! Especially if you have one of them exhaust cutout switches! I've heard my 5m uncapped at the collector, and thought I was gonna shake the tools off the pegboard! Even with a cat and Magnaflow, it's somewhat loud, but it does fall .6db short of being illegal in California! :?
Remove the cat and gain an extra 25db at around 4500rpm, but gain a few hp at it too...

well i'm redesighning my exhaust system. it's gonna actually be 2 cutouts becuase i'm not using single exhaust till after the final muffler. it's gonna be dual 2.5" in a dualin/dualout cat then twin 30" glasspacks then back to a dualin/dual out turbo muffler back to two chrome 2.5" slash cut tips. it's cheaper to go dual til the final muffler and use crush bent piping then it is to go single and mandrel bent. and yes the muffler has 2.5" inlets/outlets but 3" internal tubing. i do want almost silent idle and highway cruising operation but when i gun it i wanna be able to hear that sucker roar. that's what the cutout is for but that's one extreme to another. i may end up with smaller glasspacks to acheive that sound tho. and i have an idea to use an electronic means of opening and closing the cutouts so i don't have this ugly pull thingie on the dash and prolly two switches so i can go around town popping three cypinders then when i take off at a race open the other cutout and sound all badass.

As much money as your gonna spend going that route, you'd be able to have your 2.5" Mandrell bent exhaust system...

almost it's like 40 dollars cheaper from the muffler shop but i'll have better flow.
