If I get a lot of LOCAL interest then I'd consider parting (don't want to deal with shipping a million items), but I'd have to have enough interest to make it worth my while.

I realize I'm lacking some full-body exterior pics, but believe me you aren't missing much. I can get some for those seriously interested. The body on this car is all but shot in my opinion but if someone has a Supra with a good shell then this would be a good fit!

The Good:
-it runs, always starts right up
-tires only have ~16k miles on 'em
-radiator replaced 01/08
-water pump replaced 03/07
-timing belt in 03/04
-most the rubber coolant hoses were replaced in 01/02
-headers (unknown make)
-bilstein shocks, lowering springs (?)

The Bad:
-power steering doesn't work (I was one of thsoe noobs to supras long ago that actually used power steering fluid to refill the resevoir...oops)
-windows stuck half way down
-gas guage is irratic (will show empty when full but gets more accurate as it gets low)
-oil pressure gauge inop
-needs new exhuast terribly
-rear quarter panels /hatch eaten away
-had a tree limb fall on the front drivers fender, leaving a softball size dent in it
-no a/c
-brakes (really needs them all around, but the rear drivers caliper is shit, needs parking brake pads)

The Ugly:
-Won't drive away b/c where the clutch master cylinder attaches to the firewall is rusted out, so when you press the clutch, you just press the master cylinder away from the firewall (see: http://img257.imageshack.us/i/90371475.jpg/)

Open to reasonable offers. I can store it another winter, just tired of looking at it in the garage! I feel someone could easily make their money back by parting this sucker out; I'd rather just not go through the trouble.

I apologize with the super late response, without much interest & the holidays I sort of got away from the forums this past month.

I would consider parting the car, however it will have to wait until spring at this point. I think I may bump this another time or two when the weather warms up... ...nobody wants to do anything in the dead of winter.

I need that dash! I'll pick it up if you want to part. I'm working on some other tc parts now just trying to get everything I need.

I've just about given up on selling this thing whole--the only thing stopping me from a part out is that its in my parents garage. It would be kind of rude to make a huge, immobile mess of car parts with no real certainty of when I can get their garage back in order.

Now if I could find a farkin' house I like I'd be moved in & tearing this thing apart already! /end rant

I bet if you could fabricate a bracket to bolt the strut tower to the clutch master cylinder to make it driveable, you'd have an easier time selling it. Heck, if any of the forum members with a 5 speed could make such a mount for their car and ship it to you, or make one and bring it with/buy the car/install bracket and drive away, that would be great!

(If I had my own place with unlimited car storage, I'd be dangerous...:p)

If you wanted to move to Northern Kentucky, my girlfriend could help you find a house with a worthy garage... She's an agent with Century 21 Stellar...
