Hello, I am selling my 1984 heavily modified Supra P Type. I am relocating from Delaware down to Georgia and have to purge some of my toys. Car runs great and has all parts and accessories and a box of extra parts. Engine was rebuilt back in 2002 and has approx 5000 miles since rebuild. It does need some TLC and this is a straight up project car. looking to get around $3000 but price is negotiable. I have owned the car since 1997 so letting it go isnt easy. PM if interested and would like to see more pics.

Thanks, John

Curious color. Mark IV taillights? No rear bumper? Your link didn't take me anywhere. Still have the 5mge in it?

Good luck with the sale.

Yes, they are Mark IV tailights. rear bumper is actually the bumper support minus the cover and foam insert. Rear is all fiberglass and rear ground effect had 3 inches removed on each side to accommodate the shaved rear bumper. All the work was completed by me to include the "curious" paint color. lol. I was a sheetmetal/corrosion guy in the USAF. Yes it still has the original 5MGE as it used to be my daily driver back in the late 90s, early 2000s.

It's the only fuchsia Supra I've ever seen. I like it.

Interesting and cool build. Interested in more pics as well. What did you do for the 5-lug conversion? What kind of TLC does it need? Does it have any rust? Working A/C?

I would love to hear more about the body work, I don't suppose you have a build thread or other info? particular interested in the rear bumper, skirts, and shaved door handles.

I've always wanted to see what the rear would look like with the bumper flush with the stock rear lights (82-83 smooth style)…

will

I can post a few more pics. As far as the rear goes, its all fiberglass where the taillights are. I used a mold to form the rear. I also removed the stock rear bumper cover and foam insert behind it and used the metal support bracket as the end of the car. Where you see the 4 oval shapes is actually formed as part of the manufacturing process when the car was built. The rear ground effect was then shortened by 4 inches and fiberglassed back together to meet the bottom of the bumper support. All of the ground effects have been molded to the car so theres no seams. I have an actuator on each door which pops the door for entry with the push of a button on the alarm system remote. I have a few pics I might be able to find on the build but most of it took place between 2002 and 2004.

The car has never seen a drop of rain in the last 15 years and is COMPLETELY rust free.
