Hello everyone, first time here. Hopefully I get this right.

Ok, I just got my 85supra for about a month. Some how it is shifting very hard. I lowered the idle speed and it is a little better but still not shifting smooth. In order for the car to shifts alittle smooth after it stared, I have
accelerate a little hard and wait for the rpm to drop. Or I can warm the car up for 5 to 10 minutes and still can feel the jerk and click noise.
Please help!

Hey there,
What is she idling at ??
Does it only shift hard when putting into drive or ever gear afterwards ??
Any difference between power & economy (ECT) mode ??
Mine just passed the 300,000klm mark and shifts very crisp in both modes. Idle is always at 6.

the at 600 to 650 at normal temp.
the ECT, the power feels more sportier.
the car has 188000 miles

funny thing, everytime when the car slow down, it felt like the gear down shift it self or jump a tooth ( like you hit a bumb).
