I have an 86 mk II with auto air and air conditioning. The problem that i am having is that when the car is ideling in the morning i get nothing but cold air but once i get going say over 20 mph the heating system starts working like its suposed to. also if i'm stopped for awhile it will blow cold air.
I have heard the gurgling sound before then i fixed the leak in one of the hoses and it went away as for the temp gage it goes up to about half way or a tad bit less and stays there no matter what the temp of the outside air is. the only time it moved quickly is when i almost ran out of water. could i have a problem with the actuators that are on the firewall i checked the connections and the vacuum line and they seem to be fine.
