Hey fella's, be careful of those women drivers who pull out of department stores and say they didn't see coming on a sunny day. This past Sat. I had an accident with my BABY, 85 black Supra. My left side bumper is smashed and so is my left fender, I am fine, but my car isn't. My insurance company told me they might total it out since it's an older vehicle. I looked up Kelly blue book value and it's only worth 16 to 1800 so I am not too happy about that, so now all I can do is hold my breath and wait to see what happens next. The girl I ran into has insurance so I'll see what's.

Mike,if they need better appraisals, make them look for a replacement car.Several lots in the area have had them for 2400+ lately.

How bad is it really? We have a great body man,on Gibson road, off 99.Aprox. 1/2 mile south of Airport Road, take a right on Gibson,2nd or 3rd driferway on left.

Sorry to hear about your accident. KBB is usually the most conservative out of the three, NADA and Edmunds so check those too. Salvage value is usually figured anywhere from $400 to $600 if you plan to keep the car. Search closed bids on Ebay for Supras and show them the highest closed deals that have actually gone through on cars like yours. If they balk, grab the back of your neck and start making grimmacing faces... Good luck.

best of luck getting it fixed, and if they salvage it, buy it back... im not sure how it works down there, but if the frames not twisted or bent up too badly here, you can usually get the car recertified.
