:?:How many people would be interested in an adjustable camber kit for the rear of their pride and joy?
In design process right now and was just wondering how many others may be interested. Have access for low volume tooling and if final design flies want to know how many I may need.

I think everyone would be, the question is how complex will it be and how much? The only real way to do a bolt on one is to replace either the A arms or the cross member with an adjustable one.

Anxiously awaiting your findings. For most of us, the sooner the better, our tires will thank you. Hope the price isn't too outrageous.

uh I know what he's talking about. I'm chief mechanic on marlowmkII's supra. I'm also research anything I can find on building some kits for his car. and I've done enough work in AE86's to know that needing camber in the rear is not really and issue for me.

I'm interested if the price is right, and if it can be adequately demonstrated that these things are going to be tough enough to withstand everything they'll need to... I don't want my control arms falling off the car at 120 mph!!!

There you have it. I see 3 chief concerns, if you can address all three, you will need to make quite a few.

Safety/Reliability
Functionality
Affordable Price

Suprasman01,
I'd be interested in a set but like everyone said, how much? quality? adjustability? mod required?

BTW, you're from Dayton? How come I didn't see you there for this year's meet at Dayton? There was only 3 mk2 on Frid and 2 mk2 on Sat. Of course there were lots of mk3's and mk4's.

Interested - hell yes.

Yes I'm intersted but I'm wondering if having lowering springs will make a difference to what you're proposing. I don't have lowering springs but the left side of the car does sag a bit more than the right.

I need new springs...

trying to engineer enough adjustment for springs, for the simple fact that I want a set also and if you go 7mgte and springs it seems traction would be sacrificed with the /------\ camber like that.... gonna be a while for i am a super busy boy right now getting in to new place, and have tools and stuff strewn about town. But working on this while i can.
