All they have is an opinion, certainly no love for their Country. Perhaps if they had the balls to serve they might grow enough of a brain to see the real world for what it is. They could care less about what happens to Iraq, if they new anything about what happens there, they wouldn't be protesting. I was spit on by similar fools when I came back from Vietnam. If it happens to my son when he comes back from Iraq, I'm liable to take it personally. :evil:

Just found out yesterday that my old unit is over there, and I still have alot of friends in that unit. A large part of me wishes I was there with them...

As for the protestors... let them protest now that we found the chemical weapons factory... morons..

Yea, and a lame sales guy in the Philly area will also buy a round. :drinking:

I actually had a protestor attempt to block my path of travel Fri night in Phila. I was 1st in line at the traffic light, and this dumbass decides to walk in front of me and sit down (300ft or so). Heh, as the light changed, all 200ft lbs of torque in my little FWD VW sent the tires up in smoke.....as I shifted into 2nd still burning the tires, bouncing off the rev limiter he decided to get up REAL FAST. Yea, Bob, it has a rev limited haha.

I really really HATE the ignorant clueless people who pull those stunts.

Hehe... something similar happened to me the other day. Was escorting a prisoner to jail in Alexandria, and a couple of them walked out and sat down in front of my cruiser. I wish I coulda done like you did, but thats not an option in a CNG powered Crown Vic... So I got out and told him to move. They didn't do much until we got the K-9 out of the chase car... amazing how quick people will move when confronted with a trained attack dog barking and straining at its leash...

Its easy to take a bunch of video and then edit it to make people look bad...what about the people who answered his questions well? We dont see them. His last line is the best...just because people disagree doesnt make them evil.

The guy claims on his site, that he portrayed all but 2 or 3 people who he interviewed. He seems like a stand up guy, who stayed rather neutral when speaking and relied on facts.

Afterall, he wasnt the one wearing a skull mask, comparing Bush to Hitler, burning american flags or chanting "down with the USA"

The last 2 pieces were not from his video, but from a video I just saw of a Canadian anti war protest. Every day I wonder how people can be SO simple and SO easily manipulated....but after watching said protestors I just go deeper into a state of disbelief. It is truly a crying shame.

Anyone has the right to oppose anything. Even if it is not based on facts, who cares. But to go and curse a country as a whole, make moronic parallels, and let their hate hide any valid points they may have...is just beyond me. They are in fact becomnig the supposed beast they deplore. :roll:

Unfortunately, the guy at the end of the San Fran video is the exception, not the norm.

No slam man. I never said I was happy about this war.

To be frank, we the common folk, no matter how educated on such matters.....really have NO CLUE as to what it really going on. This holds true with any scenario. We know what a 3rd party tells us. In this example, its the beloved media, heh.

The ignorance and sheer stupidity displayed by many of the protestors is appaling. Also, the blind 'F Iraq, bomb them terrorist ********' disguised as supposed Patriotism is also pathetic. Both scenarios involve uneducated folk who just ride the bandwagon. Pot kettle black?

Exactly so...we get the 24 hour Canadian news channels up here as well as the US channels but I find myself searching the web for unbiased information (very very little) but I am trying to get a broad perspective of the situation rather than just buying the government/media line. I just hope it ends well...not escalates.
